QUESTION
Is this case going to settle? Or will it go to trial?
ANSWER
It can sometimes be difficult to determine if a case will settle or go to trial. If the parties are able to agree on a mutually satisfactory resolution of the lawsuit, then it can be settled short of trial. On the other hand, if no such agreement can be reached, then a jury will be called upon to decide the matter at trial.
